Some questions about the ct63. First of all, the booting process. I start with xboot and that fails to start with a format error. But that doesn't happen always. I've noticed that some video boot options seem to allow it to start but not always. What's the issue here?
Another thing I noticed is that I get a lot of hangs while running demos. For example derealization always hangs when run under mint, supernatural sometimes does and sometimes doesn't regardless of whether I have a clean boot or not. Oh and NVDI crashes on start most of the times but not all.
Finally as problems come, sometimes my kbd types gibberish. Not all the times though. At clean boot at least I don't have that problem.
What's the deal with the cache off? I tried an ST game today and it was about 100 fps with the caches but dropped close to ST speed when the caches were off. Is that normal?
About my falcon, the NVRAM is dead and I don't have the patched TOS in flash. Is there some way to load it?
