"push" and "pull" mode still confuses me. From the host viewpoint I want to be "pushed" by the DSP to process. So far i've managed to trigger an 030 exception by setting the Host RX interupt bit to on and then sending data from the DSP to the 030 across the host interface. Somewhat sloppy way to trigger an exception since it involves immediately clearing the Host RX interupt bit (its in the host control register BTW) and if the 030 is tied up doing a movem or whatever it might trip twice.
about SDMA: seems the trouble i'm having lies in the setting of the SDMA registers at the right moment. My code works great if the 030 isn't too occupied to service the MFP, but when a lot of code is running in the MFP exception route I start to miss the boat a bit and the sound begans outputing on the wrong SDMA channels (if im sending a stereo sample on track 1/2 it will randomly "glitch" to become 4/5 possibly). So i'm going to go to host transfer for sample data instead.

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
