After listening to the song (I've not analyzed it) it sure sounds like it's using multiple channels with PWM/other timer effects.

Your example code is messing with the MFP/timerb so it's a big chance that your code clashes with the tune.

Also the track can't possibly play nice in XSC as it's using DMA drums :-)


In a while, the SNDH-file itself will inform what hardware it's using. But it's a little bit in the future yet.
