Ok, I had a better look at the cache on/off bits - it seems he's switching the cache off when he's touching hardware registers and on when he's done. This is something I've experienced myself when patching games for the Falcon - somehow the machine would hang with caches on when writing hardware regs (I seem to remember that the MFP was most problematic). To be honest I never bothered to investigate why this is happening but I'm sure there must be a more elegant solution than simply turning the caches off! (perhaps some nops between consecutive writes to hardware regs? Experimentation needed!)

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
