Hi Mikro,
That's more or less what I expected.
I've converted my datas to long words on the CPU side before sending longs, but it's a loss of time.
I also thought about n1 -> a and tested it yesterday evening without results (as you said, the upper part of the a register is filled with zeros).
Too bad !
What would be the best and fastest way to sign extend 16 bits to 24 bits on the DSP side ?
