I'm afraid there's no miraculous help available ;) You can either send sign extended long words from CPU side or sign extend it on DSP side. Unfortunately you can't even do something as movep x:HRX,n0 / move n0, a / movep a,x:(r1)+ because the accumulator is filled with zeroes, not sign extended.
