This flag is present on the the PSG register $E. As people may know, clearing this activates the orange floppy drive LED.
Activating the orange floppy drive LED is what I want to achieve. However, looking at the circuit diagram for the ST and STe, I see this wire connects to a whole bunch of stuff including the floppy disk ports and potentially the DMA port.
Question is: is this dangerous in anyway? is D0SEL just setting drive lights or is can it affect file transfers too. I notice it is not connected to the floppy controller itself. Are there any other side effects to activating D0SEL other than just the drive light?
