Since you're not using the ST palette then it's no problem as far as I can see.

Also, since we're talking about dirty tricks... There are a couple of registers you can use - one is A7 as long as you don't bsr and no interrupt occurs, and the other is good old USP (which is different to SP when you switch to supervisor mode) as long as you remember to restore it to its original value before you switch back to user mode :).

Oh well, I'm pretty sure Defjam will notice this soon and post even more bizarre and twisted things to do :)
