I guess you mean using $68 and not Timer B.

In my code I have the top and bottom border removed and one problem I had was that the first line in the top border is shifted 16 pixels to the left. The only way I found to solve that is to have a Timer B interrupt that triggers at the last line and sets HSCROL and LINEWID to 0. Then I did that, the first line in the next frame looks ok.
