STE 16 pixel trick error
Posted by: zamuel_a Feb,21.2013-22:02

On the STE you can increase the screen width 16 pixels with the rather easy "16 pixel trick" by fooling the hardware scroll register.
The problem is that sometimes you get this effect when you don't want it. I have a very time sensitive code and sometimes I get some kind of glitch and the screen "jumps" so I get 16 pixels extra on the left side, but the bitplanes are all wrong so it's a mess. I don't know how to prevent this from happening?
