i've experimented with it before. its as GGN says with the continuing story that you can pack your ORG code into a .bin or whatever, and then have your nice GEMDOS friendly depacker throw it into memory at the ORG address. this way you can sh*t on the OS and use low memory addresses etc. I guess your old skool bootloader can also work this way.
