Hi all,

As a VERY new programmer to the ST and having stumbled upon this fine site!

I read somewhere that Line-A opcodes were no longer used for programming or rather, should i say, redundant?

I know a 'few' things about ASM programming but can Line-A opcodes be used when programming standard STFM/STE stuff?
I was thinking specifically about sprites and sprite manipulation. Seems far easier to use Line-A than other options.

At what point in the ST's model version did Line-A become unusable?

Thanks people for sharing with the newbie...
