Re: DSPMOD 3.4 problems

When you are using an accelerated CPU, programmed host-port transfers between the CPU and DSP can become corrupted. The DSP may not be fast enough to receive the synchronous data. One solution is to alter the host-transfers to handshake each transfer. Normally, this is not done so as to maximize sample-data throughput. I don't have the DSPMOD source in front of me but I would recommend close examination of the sample transfer code on the 68K side. If you see blocks of move.w (a?)+,host_port_data.w then this code should be replaced with code that polls the host-port data-transmit bit to ensure that the sample-data has been received by the DSP prior to sending more.
