about that debugging: I totally forgot. You can use Host Commands for that of course, there's very little chance all of them are used. Using IVR (this is what I meant with that vector in previous post) when some data is available from DSP is quite overkill, host commands are much better. You could do it in this way:

- make some place in DSP memory for your trace output
- make some simple function for writing traces (mainly for avoiding overwrite one trace with other)
- implement host command for sending this trace buffer to CPU
- show it on CPU

The simplest would be probably just some numbers (step 1 done, step 2 done, ...) and register dumps but nothing stops you to write strings on DSP side and send them, too :)
