No I did not mean we're the best scene site, as that's just imposible when we just cover a fraction of the demoscene :) But in my opinion, we're on the plus sie with loading speed.

Anyway I have removed the 100% from the middle cell, added <col> tags. CAB now doesn't do it 100% wide, but highwire does. So OK, I'll go with that. I also changed the & in pouet links to &amp; and w3c validator is happy now. Only the background in table cells. I guess I could do that with css as highwire won't show it as html anyway.. done. w3 validator now tells me the main page validates, which means the framework is fine. However some content pages might not validate.
