Hi evl,
Sorry for:
- not seeing the contact link, I was
lost in the HTML code in the first
place ;) and I thought contact info
would be at the bottom of the page...
but mainly I was too lazy to search
further! :)
- ever suggesting dhs.nu was not the
best scene site around, I (seriously)
think it is, at least for the scene I
care about... so kudos to you!
You misunderstood me, I realized you
took care that this site displays well
and fast on all browsers (many so-called
Atari sites (even non-retro ones) do not
pay that much attention).
I also do not care that much about CAB,
as Highwire is now here, open source and
better as well, I was just laughing at
CAB! (It's amazing how faster HW is,
BTW.)
As for the display bug I can assure you
it exists, tested under MacOSX 10.4 with
Firefox 2beta2 and Safari 2.0.4 as well.
And I insist my explanation is correct,
as I corresponds to what I see.
Also my correction should be 100%
compatible, you might want to keep that
"100%" attribute, but I can assure you
the way you use it is incorrect, and
there is no way W3C validation is going
to tell you that (it only validates
structure).
So come on, it's not big, it's once in
the page, just test it! And there won't
be even a flicker in Firefox anymore!
And dhs.nu will put the competition to
shame ever more as to rendering speed!
;P
As for W3C validation, I am not a purist
(neither are you I guess, else you would
go the CSS route, and so force HW coders
to implement all of it ;)...). However
coding '&' as '&' in URLs could
fix some of the issues I guess
(hoping HW supports that well).

What's the anti-troll code? That's your personal code to be able to add comments and messages on the dhs.nu site.
Don't have a code or forgot it? Fix it here.
