hicolour hz scroll
Posted by: mikro Apr,24.2006-20:07

hello,

i just observed strange thing: when i change (under vbl) address of videoram in hicolour mode (falcon ofcourse) with the values multiple of 2 (vram+2, vram+4, ...) i see some screen errors on the left border (by scrolling; by static picture i see sometimes also some errors but i'm not able to describe it - all in all it's not such crucial). but when i change scroll values by multiple of 4, everything works as expected.

could someone explain why falcon hicolour behaves like this? it should work for 2 bytes boundaries, too or not? i tested in on vga/100 hz only.
