Detecting VIDEL clocks
Posted by: Peter Oct,07.2007-12:32

The 32Mhz and EXT clock inputs can have just about any frequency nowadays. If I use one of them, I surely need to know which frequency it is.

A couple of methods pops up in my head:
- measuring the video address counter
- measuring the VBL frequency
- measuring the HBL frequency

Frankly, I don't know if any of this would gain proper results. Any thoughs on this matter?
