I had already thought of this; if there are troubles with some screen(s) when putting it into the megademo, we might need to patch it a bit - not enhance it, just make it work properly. I never thought this would take it out of the competition.
Your idea is a bit out in the grey zone, but I say: Why not. The demo will not show anything new, only behave better. Go ahead, do the patch I'd say.
But other authours of demo screens should have a chance of saying their word as well :-)
