Hi,
I'm not sure why you're discriminating demos with "collage of samples" really. Is it not music for you? I mean, is DHS' Drone or XiA's US policy (or yeah, Aggression's Brain damage too) somehow inferior to a demo playing a 6 or 12khz module with the high notes sounding bum? Would those demos be much better (or "kickass" if they had to sacrifice 30+% cpu time and show cut down effects just so they play mod files?
(Please take no offense in this. I'm only being curious here and provide a couple of counter arguments. I'm curious to read your view point on this).
To get to the subject though: off the top of my head check out Zeal's demos, I think tyranny and massacre by DHS also have mod files, one of Dim's screens in european demos, Edge of panic by accs, ST connexion's part in Froggies over the fence, tscc's beams TT version, Mystic and ovr's screens in Punish your machine, a few TLB screen in Ooh crikey wot a scorcher and Mindbomb, TCB's Grovan and kvack kvack demo, Penrdragons had a modfile playing in their wireframe 3D screen. I surely forgot tons of others, might get back to the topic later.
