Yes, I just loved this years Sommarhack again, very laid back and yet productive. Also, there is nothing like jumping into the river, cool down in the beautifully bright surrounding and then get back to the computer party to share some cool drinks and time within the Nordic Atariscene. Also great to meet people like Opus or a Phalanx-member in real life. The high quality compo level (I think every demo entry was good) and the Swedish summer mood added a lot. Thanks for the arrangement DHS, I really hope to visit another edition!
For the rumor part: there is new and fancy looking stuff for Supervidel in the pipeline. Also the Jaguar shouldn't starve in the future. XiA joint hardware development literally (self-cased analog joystick adapters for PC/Mac/Linux) and sponsored those as compo prizes. The Bits Club failed in contributing, I suppose they were on vacation, but actually, where do they go to?
@Acca, XiA and Evil: Thanks so much for the surrounding moments / bbq / showing me around, I had an awesome time and won't forget :)
@Britelite: great meeting you there, hope for a next time!
@ggn: well, it will depend on the game DHS picks for the compo more next time. We will also add that manipulated joystick specially for you, and put you blindfold on that gaming chair. This should work next time - to reduce your score lead that is ;)
