Trying to restore a bit of peace and perspective here, speaking as a happy customer of both parties...
Outline and Sillyventure are two completely different events, which happen to have the word 'Atari' in common. Outline caters for a wider scene as well as Atari stuff, whilst Sillyventure is determinedly Atari hardcore focused.
Both are cool in their own ways. I get excited about Outline because it has a summer vacation feel with some great scene friends and nice releases. It does not take itself too seriously and leaves me chilled and relaxed by the end. Sillyventure manages to recapture the feeling of the early classic parties like Fried Bits and Error in Line, where our coders and artists are still pushing back boundaries. I feel shattered, but ecstatic after that party.
In terms of 'who's the biggest', I don't have any numbers, but both parties feel very similar in size to me. In terms of *Atari releases* then Sillyventure can claim to have the most of these.
Havoc and Grey, ffs, please shake hands and make up, it saddens me to think that we could lose either of these events due to a misunderstanding.
