Hi,
I've never used musicmon so I wouldn't know how to help you with the interface and how to make your music run at 50hz, but here's a small message to the programmer(s) of your product: if you can afford to play cerror's music as is, you can hook on timer C and simply have your effects sync to 200hz instead of 50 (it's only a matter of multiplying your sync points by 4 if they are already at 50hz). One way to use Timer C can be found on my sndh2prg util (http://users.hol.gr/~ggn/sndh2prg.zip).
Of course if it's also a matter of too little cpu time left I guess the tune itself will have to be modified.
