wow, thanks for the link. At Outline I saw Gasman's show back then but wasnt aware of the 6channel modification. Really cool - seems to allow lot of varity in the tune + nice echoes, similiar to Atari 8-bit with 2 Pokeys.

indeed, the dual pokey boards made me wonder what would be possible with 2xYM on ST. I also think there were some attemps for hardware discussed at atari-forum a while ago.
Theta Music Composer is the way to go if you want to work on real hardware in stereo. There may even be other solutions, but I don't know exactly. Anyway, you can find it on the website of Jaskier/Taquart:

Regarding replaying Pokey tune on Atari STE/Falcon, atm and probably forever, the only option I know is to use Cream's Atari JAM with the SAP-Plugin.
