A chance for more artwork

Ah ok, then i understood it right.

I think it is important to distinguish the site and the people.

Pixeljoint is home of a hardcore community that emphasises pixel art done pixel by pixel. Own stuff, or copies of famous art but no scans, traces etc.
The main goal is indeed to improve.

Anyway one point for Atari stuff could be to search for good art and contact the author to use it.
Look at Suretrip 2 with a lot of Exocet gfx "recycled", could be improved but there is gfx and no delay on that part.

At pixeljoint there are many scene or ex-scene gfx man from Amiga, Atari and PC. (e.g. ptoing (who contributed in the 20 years ST demo), tomic (doing gfx for several gfx compos at parties) or Frost (who supprted a recent MSX2 demo with gfx) )
Some have never used stuff, some seem quite to like to contribute.

They should now "what it takes" and it is not important that they eternally join the Atari scene imho.

You can also search for colour count to find only stuff fitting for the system/effect you need.

All this is just an offer - many coders complain they have to gfx man (at least what i heard) so here they are.

Take it or leave it.

And again: worldpeace :-)
