evl: not the case. I receive those ide 0.0 ----------- stuff even when nothing is connected at all(nothing, no ide cable, no 2,5->3,5 adaptor). Even in 030 mode. Dont know why. Hd driver detect everything almost correctly (I receive corrupted names, e.g letters changed or total garbage) . I connected normal ide hd and cd roms with similar results. Faulty mb I suppose
