CT60 problems
Posted by: exxos Oct,05.2008-18:48

Hi all,

CT60 all installed, with the auto boot programs.

Pretty much seems to work fine until it comes up to a read error on bad floppies, regardless if you quit or retry it crashes with status dump on the screen. However I have copied 100's of floppies and no crashes until it has problems reading one, and it crashes every time.

Also, I think my NVRAM battery is flat. I used the "replace NVRAM" in the CPX module but does not help. I keep setting the boot options in the CPX but when power is removed, it just comes up with NVRAM error and all my settings are lost. I would have thought the "replace NVRAM" option in the CPX would cure this ?

Also, wasn't there a boot/test menu internal to the CT60 to disable SDRAM etc ?

Is there a ram test program which will test the 128MB ram ? The ones I have only test the 4MB falcon RAM.

Do you need NVDI for CT60 to work correctly, rodolphe I am sure said it was needed for CT60, but NVDI4 just locks up on boot or casues the CT60 to constantly reset/reboot. So gave up with it.

Also, has anyone got "lasers and men" to work ? it ran pretty slow on the falcon, but would run really nice on the CT60, I can upload the demo if someone wants to have a try.

Cheers,
Chris
