no - only some of them will work.
i think most PC drives are hardwired to ID 0... you need one you can change with a jumper to ID 1.
Some old Teac and Epson drives for example.
I put the HD Epson drive from my Falcon into my Mega STe, and put a Teac into the Falcon.
I forget exactly which drives, however I found them pretty easily on google.
