:) Interesting code! What worries me though is the use of the MMU. It's a great shortcut to gain speed, but it doesn't really fit into the freemint/XaAES context (which is my target).
There is another 68k Z80 engine that looks really promising. It's written by Günter Woigk and emulates a 4Mhz Z80 on a 30Mhz 68030. So far I haven't managed to get it up and running, but if I do, I hope it could be modified to run with SMS, fMSX, x128, and other Z80-based emulators.
