Hi!

Just a comment regarding slow scrolling in CAB. I think the limiting factor here is the STRAM, which is run at 25MHz on the CT2b and 24MHz on your CT60+Nemesis. So a CT2b should actually be slightly faster than your CT60+Nemesis when doing accesses to the STRAM (like scrolling a page in CAB).

Instead compare the time it takes for CAB to format a large html-page on both computers. This should be faster on the CT60, since much of the work is done in FastRAM.
