When I purchased N.AES I used Thing (it was bundled with N.Aes). But since XaAes is very stable and advanced lot I switched to it together with changing to Teradesk. I prefer Teradesk because:
- more simple and the functionality it provides is sufficient for me
- can handle long filenames
- supported (you can personally ask features from the developers, like to be able to run files without extensions)
- adopted more and more to work together with Mint
- I can use the same desktop on all of my ataris: from the 1040 through the TT and MegaSTE to the CT60
