Highwire is still being developed and new features are being added. The most recent ones have been for useability, like bookmarking. I am sure that CSS support will be finished-off and maybe we will get JS.

I did once read that the JS code was open source and it wouldn't be too difficult to add it into Highwire once all the required parts to support it have been finished. Please correct me if I am wrong.
