Do you remember if the busy bee was "stuck", or did it move when you moved the mouse?
I suspect 2 things:
1. IKBD vector is not restored properly (but when I test it, it works)
2. I had a mysterious bug in the PSG-emulator which suddently dissappeared for no reason. It is possible that this bug still exists and disables the IDE drive. Maybe some interrupt routine in the system/hd driver touches the YM-registers? In such case, this would certantly mess things up..
