I suspect that Falcamp's 680x0 code does not include loops to wait for the DSP to complete when doing host tranfers... as the DSP is always fast enough on a stock Falcon.
With a higher (66/72/100/whatever-50 instead of 16/32) clocked and more efficient (060 vs 030) CPU this is not the case anymore...

But perhaps Falcamp does not use host port transfers at all??? Ask ST-Ghost for this.
