CT60-100 & SDMA...
Posted by: Didier Méquignon Nov,22.2003-19:14

Hi,

Do you remember, I have a little SDMA problem :
Sometimes with a littte CPU load like a WAV played, the 060 is locked (no exceptions) the sound is destroyed (dark vador) and the videl can found bandwidth for his display (synchro lost and picture destroyed, something like an RVB signal on a VGA). For me it's an arbritation problem, it was good with the old 060.

I have found a solution I take the 50 MHz from the 100 MHz clock oscillator. I use an 74S74 for divide the frequency by 2, and this output goto the socket of my 50 MHz oscillator removed.

If someone has this problem...

Nevertheless I hope than Rodolphe fix this special problem with the 68060 rev 6 (CT60-100) because this problem exist always at 16/32 MHz.

Regards,

Didier.
