wow even when i'm owner of legal copy this fact is total surprise for me ;)))
about stoop: yes, some things are really strange in this program but highlights are over these. That newdesk.inf can be solved in such way you don't use desktop - I use teradesk under both FreeMiNT and TOS and I have never seen corrupted newdesk.inf anymore. It has got nice interface, support for directory/file moving for startup setup (so you can boot to various versions of FreeMiNT) etc... my rating: 9/10.
