Sorry Sascha, I don't remember what frequencies caused a problem, but it was in the lower range.
The problem is:
when the CTCM is at 66MHz with the solder connection, it will be at 33MHz without. And this did not work for me. So I always changed to about 80MHz first and unsoldered the connection then. This worked fine for me.
And yes, the CPX will still give you the x2 value.
