I had already cleaned the cartridge port and LOG3 when testing various dongles to see if the port was the problem. I also tested two LOG3 interfaces on an ST, and they work fine.

I'm fairly certain that the problem is not the LOG3 or contacts, since this problem would generally result in inability for the program Logic to see the LOG3, which would cause the program to abort loading.

In my case, when either of these LOG3 dongles are attached to my Falcon (which has a CT60 and motherboard booster installed) the computer will not boot at all, and rarely even shows a boot screen. I have insured that the computer is set to F030 mode (CT60 off) and Boost off (running at factory speed).

The only thing that makes any sense to me is that somehow the LOG3 is stepping on the memory used by the CT60 Roms, even when it is disabled. This is reinforced by the fact that I got a ROM E error once or twice.

Has anyone used a LOG3 with a CT60 Falcon? If so, it would seem that my Falcon has some hardware problem that affects the Rom port.

:/
