Problems Flashing ABE
Posted by: Crash Apr,27.2005-06:31

Greetings,

I've re-configured my new JTAG cable and successfully flashed the SDR chip, but now cannot flash the ABE chip.

I have tried removing the CT60 board from the Falcon, replacing the jumper between pins 20 and 22 of the smaller Falcon board connector- but the Falcon will not boot in this state.

I do have the soldered installation for the CT60, so I am uncertain as to whether there is something in addition to this jumper that needs to be reversed before this Falcon will operate without the CT60.

I have also tried installing a 1K resistor between the pin #1 and pin #10 at ONE of the three 74LVC245A chips, and tried to program the CT60 in place on the Falcon board, although when I tried to program the ABE, I got an erase error.

Any suggestions?
