Evil: A suggestion; how about adding a replacement picture feature to the cpx configuration?

DM: It's very hard, like update the flash with CT60 flash tool. The flash can be used and not only replaced by MagiC (exepted exceptions) or copied in SDRAM.

Evil: And the possibility to disable the motorola logo+super booster text ?

DM: I have a best idea, like the Atari Diagnostics, where the 4 first bytes are a Cartridge code $FA52235F, why not put another code $58494D47 (XIMG) where at $ED0004 there are the beginning of your code called inside videl2.S just after the screen is set in 320 x 240 65K colors (a black screen), for exemple a 2 seconds demo ;-)
When you quit your code inside videl2.S, the boot has always clocks measures during 2 seconds with the _same_screen_ . At this state only XBIOS is valid, but keyboard and interrupts works. Only instruction cache is set.

Regards,

Didier.
