I've tried mplayer.ttp now, and it works. Amazing :) I just have a CT60/66, and I confirm it is too slow for playing anything except mp2/mp3 audio.
I've tried it with VCD MPEG1 and it's 3-4 times too slow for playing it (106 secs to replay 30 sec clip). It really seems strange that a CT60/100 should managed DVD-MPEG2?
I've tried to use -vo sdl:gem but it fails to do this, any hint how to make it run in gem?
