Hi Nils,
you should have reported the crash then, maybe the development wouldn't be stalled for 7 years! ;-) mxPlay is still an 030 player, too, many plugins are in fact 030 only.
About the depackers: this is what I thought as well but then I realized that none of the modules from Fading Twilight are packed so I lost interest. I think SNDH plugins does support ICE, though. :)
Apropo Turrican -- one of the most replayed modules for me was actually it's 8-bit remix by Radek Sterba (Raster), I used it for testing if DMA playback is fluent enough :D
