Hey,
All the original XBIOS video functions will be intact, and you can still write directly to VIDEL registers if you like. Some additional calls will be added to handle both screens, and to provide some more flexibility (modecodes are kind of limited). Additionally, a function for video ram allocation (ct60_vmalloc()) is added (CTPCI compatible).
The Milan XBIOS API will not be implemented, mainly because there is no need to do so. Patrice Mandin also mentioned the need for some kind of video mode enumeration, so why not? It has not been implemented yet though.
