Re: Networking problem - Mint-Net

Hi,

I almost have similar problems... my freemint setup is stable enough but networking always crash the system after few KB or MB of data transferred :(

I use a CT60+CTPCI+Radeon configuration and an Ethernec, on Freemint 1.17.0 but this problem was already present with previous version 1.16.x and 1.17.X, and with different hardware (no CTPCI, using PPP on serial port).

I think there is a sort of memory leak that causes the mint kernel (or other) to grow and crash on memory access.

I'm not sure it's exactly the same problem, but it looks similar.

Anybody with an idea ?

I will post this message on Freemint developpement mailing list...

SLiX.
