I can confirm that with CT63 installed, the falc will boot without a nvram.

I tried the following:
1. stock falc (without ct63) with nvram - boot
2. stock falc (without ct63) without nvram - blank screen
3. falc with ct63 with nvram - boot
4. falc with ct63 without nvram - boot

I checked that I do not have the "replace nvram" enabled.

Note:
After I checked the "replace nvram" setting, I accidentally clicked OK of CT60CONF.CPX. This was with the nvram removed.
After a reboot with the Ct63 on, my LCD went crazy and cannot display the screen. I plug in my nvram & reboot, but the same LCD crazy happened. Only way out was to do a nvram reset while booting up. This recovered the screen.

So if your nvram is removed, be careful of click OK on CPX that tries to save some info on nvram.
