Sorry man. I don't mean to BS.

I was was just saying that may be with the ct63 on, it is able to by pass the nvram settings. That the words "May be" at the beginning of the sentence.

I also mean is that I have not tried removing the nvram but with the ct63 and boot up the system.

What I have done was, disconnect my nvram when it was dried up by cutting off the Vcc pin 24, and tried booting the falc. I had a black screen. Only when I connect my external battery pack on, it was also to boot up.
No I did not have a CT60 when the battery went dry back in the mid 2000, and therefore was not able to experience the same as you had.
