Bug in CTPCI/radeon.sys
Posted by: Latz Sep,01.2010-17:38

Hi,
i found a problem, perhaps in radeon.sys. Beetle confirmed it.

- CT60 128 MB/ 80 MHZ ABE_7B SDR_7C, CTPCI/RADEON 9250 CTPCI_1C
- MINT 1.17.0/XaAES/TeraDesk, fvdi, 1280x1024x16Bit res.

In XaAES Taskmanager, System/Log (with list entry "System" opened) and fileselector (tree view),
scrolling the window to the right and then back to the left (move slider with mouse or scrolling
with arrow buttons) causes a complete system crash. It's caused by the lines at the left border.
This happens when opening window-context menu (rightclick on CLOSER) when a submenu opens, too.
If i deactivate hardware acceleration for "line" in fvdi.sys, everything works correct.

*****
01r radeon.sys mode 1280x1024x16@60 accelerate 0xxxxxx monitor_layout TMDS,CRT
*****

This is not a bug in XaAES, it works correct on non-CTPCI Falcons and Aranym.

Regards,
Lars
