OK. Do you have tried to overwrite XCRONTROL, maybe there are a file corruption ?
You can also try to press the 2x SHIFTs during the boot picture, the CT60 start without SDRAM (and without CTPCI because PMMU remapping for uncompress PCI drivers need SDRAM). The system boot like before and you can test again XCONTROL with your config.

Else when CT60 runs, the 030 never got the bus (hardware BR/BG signals), so the state of the old FPU has no importance.
Do you have tried to remove some CPX with XCONTROL ?
