Personnaly I havn't used Aranym since I have the CT60, but I use my Compact flash for transfer data to the Mac without problems since lot of years.
TOS is rock and solid, it's not a good idea to replace the GEMDOS by BDOS for increase the DOS limits.
Sure it's a real problem with USB and mass storage, because combinated partitions on this support seems ... humm ... maybe with XHDI.
I'am not sure that BDOS is 100% bugs free. Vincent has already fixed some bugs.
Another problem is flash free space, sure I can remove the picture boot and get 65K/80KB.
For VGA I'am not sure if monitor detections works since lot of users use DVI, but I must check up again later.
