VIDEOCNF.CPX: can display modecode selected inside the list (in decimal or hexa for put inside a config specific file, xaaes.cnf for example).
The selected screen can be saved in fvdi.sys(mode ...).
radeon.sys: without mode in fvdi.sys, the driver use the current screen (so the boot screen)
TOS VDI and MagiC: I rewrite some parts of the TOS for MagiC can use the TOS VDI (actually MagiC need fVDI). I need some days.
Else this week-end I got again a disk problem, now diring tests some app s under MagiC, I lost all directory of my partition C, I lost 3 hours, I had a 2 months old backup from the great tool of Roger. No data lost. Maybe I must update the CTPCI hardware, there are a fix inside CTPCI_1B. I use the latest ABE.
It's the 3rd disk crash since I have the CTPCI. I had never got disk problems since I have the CT60 :-(
About my config, now DMA is actived again, excepted under fVDI/MagiC.
Maybe there are a random bug with burst transfers. All works fine until the problem....
Some peoples here use always CTPCI_1A ?
